Come hustle with Strangers Collective for an ART TRIATHLON all across downtown Santa Fe on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 11-4 pm. Jordan Eddy, Kyle Farrell & Kelly Skeen (+ Kelly's puppy, Elby) will be walking between each of these events, but you can join us by foot or by car for any/all of the proceedings. It begins at Center for Contemporary Arts at 11:00 am, and ends at form & concept around 4:00 pm. For each event, we will award participants shiny medals based on random, artsy factors! Here's the plan:

1. Close Looking of Mapping Resonance
w/ Elaine Ritchel of Santa Fe Art Tours
Center for Contemporary Arts, 11:00 am

Join museum educator Elaine Ritchel for a close look at Jill O'Bryan's exhibition Mapping Resonance. Through guided looking activites and relaxed conversation, we will explore our responses to the work on view. Close Looking is an opportunity to slow down, be present with the work, and consider the meaning it holds for us and for the artist. NOTICE: This one costs $12, so much sure to snag a ticket on the CCA website:http://ccasantafe.org/visual-arts/public-programs/982-close-looking-with-elaine-ritchel

2. The Silent Conversation: Methods to Overcome the Creative Block
w/Ariana Lombardi of KNACK Magazine
Santa Fe Community Gallery, 1:00 pm

Ariana Lombardi’s workshop aims to create a space and a dialogue that allows participants to produce a work of art from silent discourse. They are asked to write down answers to questions and thoughts and work to develop a text from what is written. This encourages artists to discover how poetry (or art) can be made through divergence and then collection of a stream of thought. Through this process artists are deprived of traditional communication methods, creating a deeper, more meaningful internal exchange that can inform their creative process. This one's free! 3. New Performance by Victory Grrrls
w/Niomi Fawn, Thais Mather & Lucy Madeline
form & concept, 3:00 pm

form & concept hosts a new performance piece by feminist collective Victory Grrrls. Artists Niomi Fawn, Thais Mather and Lucy Madeline will illuminate the continued vitality of the powerful social movement, through three performance vignettes. This one's free as well, though form & concept is asking for $5-$10 donations in support of the artists. More info: http://www.formandconcept.center/event/new-performance-by-the-victory-grrrls/

AND if you want to make it a marathon, make sure to swing by the opening of Love & Loss at Art.i.fact (4-7 pm) and the Te Amo Art Show atWAREHOUSE TWENTY-ONE (3-6 pm) afterwards!
